Preparing for 2025: What Are the New Laws Impacting Compensation and Benefits
A stack of new employment law bills have just been signed by Governor Newsom and are set to go into effect in just a few months. Our annual legal update will cover new laws coming into effect in 2025 by reviewing the substance of each new law as well as practical suggestions for compliance.
Denise Visconti currently is a Shareholder in Littler’s San Diego office. Denise spent the first part of her career litigating hundreds of matters, from class action litigation, representative actions, private attorney general matters, to single-plaintiff actions. Currently, Denise spends the bulk of her time advising organizations and their human resources teams in all aspects of the employment relationship, including counseling employers on state and federal legal requirements, updating policies and job descriptions, training managers and recruiters, and advising employers on compliance with federal and state issues related to pay equity.
