Steve is currently the Vice President of Total Rewards, HR Technology and Operations for Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. in the Pacific Highlands Ranch area of San Diego. He has over 40 years’ experience in Human Resources, including previously held positions in life science and high technology. His experience includes leader roles as Head of HR for small companies and for divisions.  He has undergraduate degrees in Biology and Economics from UC San Diego.

He has previously held Board roles, including treasurer and president of BEDC (now known as LifeHR) in San Diego and in Board role for an affiliated organization that provided scholarship to promising scientific interns at member companies. In addition, he has been a CBASD member for over 10 years (in total).
