Clyde J Robins is President of CompBenTax, Compensation, Benefit and Tax Consulting.
He was the Managing Director Human Resources at BYU Hawaii. Prior to this position, he retired as the Vice-President of Human Resources at Nutraceutical International Corporation. In this position, and in positions with prior employers, he has been involved in the Compensation and Employee Benefits Profession for the past 38+ years. His experience has been in the development, administration, mergers, compliance and tax issues of Compensation and Benefit plans, including both qualified and non-qualified.
Clyde served for three years as a member of the WorldatWork Benefits National Advisory Board, and for two years on the Credential and Certification Advisory Board. He currently serves as a board member for the Intermountain Compensation and Benefits Association (ICBA) and on the HR advisory board at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii. Clyde has a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude from Brigham Young University, College of Business Management, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Clyde was recognized as a key contributor to the WorldatWork certification training course entitled Accounting and Finance for the Human Resources Professional. As a faculty member for the WorldatWork Organization for the past 29 years, he teaches seminars both domestically and internationally on Accounting / Finance, Compensation and Employee Benefits. He also has advised and consulted many Companies on Compensation and Employee Benefit Issues. Clyde is a Certified Benefits Professional (CBP®), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®) and Global Remuneration Professional (GRP®).
