- 20 years of experience advising corporate boards and management teams on executive pay and governance topics including strategic incentive design, talent market segmentation, pay-for-performance alignment, proxy advisor policy application and shareholder engagement approaches
- Leads engagements with organizations from a range of industries including airlines, banking, consumer products, high-tech, life sciences, media, manufacturing, not-for-profit and real estate.
- Frequent guest speaker on executive pay for World@Work and regional total rewards associations
- Plays a leadership role as a mentor in WTW’s mentorship program and leading the semiannual WTW executive compensation webcasts

- 12 years of compensation experience partnering with company Boards and management teams to align pay programs with strategic business objectives and HR priorities
- Previously served as Head of Compensation at Beyond Meat and Executive Pay Lead at Zynga
- Co-leads the US Executive Compensation Webcast, providing latest research, trends and thought leadership
- Leader on life sciences (biopharma, medical devices) and consumer product goods industry teams

Simon Benfrech, CFA, WTW Director

Simon Benfrech is a Director in WTW’s Executive Compensation practice in San Francisco. Simon has a decade of experience working with Boards and management at public and private companies at the pre-IPO stage to Fortune 100 companies. Simon advises Board of Directors and senior management on the strategic design of performance-based compensation programs to maximize the alignment of human capital interests with those of company shareholders. He has substantial experience designing compensation and benefits programs for technology, fintech, and financial services organizations. He is a member of WTW’s Technology Team and Governance Team.

Alex Mejia is a Lead Associate in WTW’s Executive Compensation and Board Advisory consulting practice based in Irvine. With five years of experience consulting with clients nationally, Alex has focused her work on executive and non-employee director pay benchmarking, incentive design and pre-IPO readiness. She has worked with management and compensation committees of organizations in industries such as life sciences, healthcare, higher ed, technology and business services.
